LiteBITE is incredibly useful for two solid reasons. The first, that for which it was developed, is for basketball, football, snowboarding, and a myriad of other sports wherein you don't want your teeth banging against each other and chipping or breaking, but you want to be able to breathe easily, to drink to stay hydrated, and to speak clearly and easily, all without having to remove your guard. Prior to this, the only way you could get a guard made from this dental lab material was to have a dental lab make one for you. We are the ONLY company that makes a boil and bite out of that SAME soft EVA dental lab plastic (because it is a difficult material to work with and no one else want to bother with it...but it's so good!). The other reason people love LiteBITE is for clenching/grinding their teeth, to prevent damage, but while wearing a comfortable, flexible guard that doesn't make you want to gag but instead is pleasant to wear. The blue version will work beautifully for either reason. Typically, the night guards are trimmed-out at a lower profile because night wearers don't necessarily love to feel it at all up on their gums, and those we sell for athletic purposes come up a little higher. This blue guard is made primarily for athletic purposes, so it comes somewhat up onto the gums. If you want a blue guard, and if coming up a little higher is good for you, you will love wearing this guard! And each comes with a custom carry case so you can keep it clean!
