Everything for LiteBITE is sourced in the USA (intentionally), and our guards are made in and shipped from North Texas! Each comes in a custom carry case so you can keep it clean!
LiteBITE is the ONLY boil and bite product of its kind that is made from the same "soft EVA" dental material that the labs use to form the flexible, thin, comfortable, custom-fit guard that you can only otherwise obtain at a dental lab for many more times than the cost of a LiteBITE. Why does no one else make them out of that material? Simple. Because it's more expensive and time-consuming to use this material and the process required, and the others just prefer the low cost (and quality) of mass-made, injection-molded guards that are manufactured overseas. A testimony to LiteBITE is that we have MANY repeat customers. Once people find it, they generally don't want to use anything else.
Can this blue one be used for both athletics and for teeth-clenching/grinding? Yes! Generally, the biggest difference is that the guards for sports is trimmed higher so that it comes up to the gums to give more protection, and often night-wearers prefer those that are trimmed lower so it's not against their gum. These blue guards ARE trimmed higher, mostly targeting football players, since they (in Texas, anyway) are required to wear a color, not clear. But they can be used, of course, for ANY sport (I hear snowboarders love LiteBITE, and it's obviously great for basketball!), or also for the clenching/grinding purposes.
